Large tile outlets don’t have a broad enough design selection
to carry out their vision. I specialize in creating one-of-a-kind
backsplashes and custom relief tile murals to adorn “dream
houses”. Whether you’re remodelling your home,
building an addition, or designing a brand new home, my tile artwork
may be exactly what you’re looking for. I enjoy the journeys
that my customers take me on as they lay out their vision, and
I hope they enjoy the journey that I will take them on as I bring
that vision to life.

THE PROCESS
Listening
I listen to my customers carefully to determine what they want
and what other design elements / spaces need to be taken into
consideration. This includes subject matter, size, colors, etc.
Sketches
After meeting with a client and recording the space in which the
work will go, I create a line sketch and email it to the client.
When the sketch is approved, I create a colored sketch to ensure
that all colors meet with the client's expectations. When that
is approved, I begin the project.
Some clients are not sure exactly when they want. In these cases,
I am happy to take a look at the house (or photos if it is across
the country). I talk to the clients about things that are important
to them. Then I create sketches of my ideas. We talk again and
we talk about colors, sizes, installation, etc.
Sculpting
Taking into account everything the client wants, I begin sculpting
the project. Clients can receive progress photos of the work in
progress if they so desire.
Completion
When the project is completed the mural can be shipped in pieces
to be installed by a professional tile installer, or we can mount
it onto plywood and ship it with hanging hardware so it can be
hung like a picture and taken with you if you move from your house.
